Simple, economical protection
MSC describes its tunnels as simple, economical structures for growing vegetables on smaller areas. They’re ideal for regions with a mild climate, where summer temperatures don’t get too high.
Four models
- High Tunnel: 9.4 m wide, 3.56 m clear under the truss and 5.8 m to the ridge. Arches are Ø60 mm at 2 m spacing, with roll-up side ventilation, a sliding door, six wind braces and thermal film.
- Agricultural Tunnel: MSC’s standard tunnel, about 8 m to 9.4 m wide.
- Macrotunnel: a very simple, economical structure, 6 m to 8 m wide, for covering large areas when you don’t need tight climate control. It takes plastic or mesh.
- Tunnel Kit: 4 m, 5 m or 6 m wide, designed for kitchen gardens. It ships on a single pallet, needs no foundations, and the buyer can put it together.
Good to know
Tunnels have less climate control than multi-span greenhouses. Choose a multi-span if you need heating, screens or year-round production, or if you’re in a hot inland region. In high-wind and cyclonic areas, we check whether a tunnel is suitable at all and how it must be anchored.
