MSC’s evaporative cooling system uses exhaust fans and cooling pads on opposite walls of the greenhouse. Outside air is drawn through the wet pads and cooled as the water evaporates. It works best where the air is dry, so it suits inland and southern Australia. In humid tropical regions, we usually recommend natural ventilation and shading instead.
